Enjoying the Weather

We've been busy soaking up the nice weather before the cold comes back...gotta love Iowa!  We got a new Sit 'n Stand stroller for the boys and we've used it for a few walks and we love it!  Brady was way too big for our double jogging stroller (he looked ridiculous) but when we go places like the Farmer's Market and other fun outdoors events we want something that he can still utilize. With this one he can stand or sit (facing me or facing towards Mason).  So far so good!

1 Year Stats

Mason had his 1 year check-up today...poor guy had to have 3 shots and a finger poke...it was rough (probably more so for mommy).  He is one healthy, happy boy!

Height:  30 1/8 (55th percentile)
Weight: 24.12 (90th percentile...ha ha...last time he was in the 70th percentile...boy likes to eat!)
Head Circ:  18 (37th percentile)

A Mickey Mouse Birthday

On Sunday we had Mason's 1st Birthday Party!  Luckily the weather was pretty decent to the kids could play outside.  We decided to have most of the party in the garage, which gave much more room and we could all spread out!  Here's his birthday in pictures...I should have taken more of the decorations (thanks Pinterest for the ideas!)...oh well!

The Big Day

While we are super excited for his birthday bash this weekend, we had to celebrate our little guy's big day with our family of 4 on Friday.  He got to open his gifts and have a yummy cupcake (of course we had to sing to him by the insistence of big brother).  How did this year go by already?  We can't wait for family and friends to come over and celebrate this little cutie's big day!

Happy 1st Birthday Mason!!

How can it be that our sweet baby boy is already 1?  This year has just flown by.  It's so hard to believe that a year ago today we were in the hospital anxiously awaiting to meet our last baby.  Mason, you have brought so much joy to our lives and have completed our family.  We are so lucky to be your parents!!  It makes me sad to think that you're technically not a baby anymore..how is that possible?  You are such a mama's boy right now and I'm okay with that (sometimes it can be difficult but I'm trying to cherish this phase).  I'll post more of a 1 year update when he has his 1 year check-up!
