New Season...New 'Do'

I have been going back and forth about wanting to try something new with my hair so I decided to just go for it...Andy was very supportive so I decided to go darker with my hair for fall and to cut off a bunch of it...it was a little bit of a shock to me at first but I'm liking it more and more...



For some reason, I always picture it in my head darker and shorter than it really is...so I guess that's a relief!

Friday Night Lights

On Friday we headed back to my parents so we could go to the Exira-EHK football game. My uncle is the coach and I have a couple cousins on the team so it was good to see them all in action. They pulled off the win and it was a good game even though we only made it through half-time. The bugs were ridiculous and it was close to 8:30 and Brady was ready for bed. It was a good night all around!

Brady was so well behaved, we sat in the bleachers and he sat on Grandma and Grandpa's laps and ate popcorn and cheered along with the cheerleaders...it was too cute!

Sunday Fun

On Sunday I started the day with an awesome 12 mile run with Mollie! The weather was perfect for a run and we really had a great run. We are training for the Des Moines Half Marathon which is just in a couple of weeks.
After the run we ran some errands and I did a ton of cooking/baking for the upcoming week. I've gotten in to a routine of getting a lot of my cooking done for the week on Sundays and it's such a time saver throughout the week.
Later in the afternoon Nana and Papa Cathcart came down for a short visit. We visited and went for a walk and stopped in a few open houses while we were out and about. All in all it was a great day!

Fun on the Counter...

Brady loves to sit on the kitchen counter and play with all his sippy cups and plates, etc. He like's to 'pour' the milk from him sippy into another cup but gets a little miffed when nothing comes out of his sippy...funny guy!
