First Day of Preschool!

Today Brady had his first day of Pre-K!  We got the call last week that he got in to the Pre-K program through North Polk Schools and so this means that he will go all.day.long 2 days per week and every other Friday!  We were so excited for him to have this opportunity.  This way it won't be such a transition going to all day Kindergarten next year all week long.  He was pretty excited/nervous and did a great job!  He got a little upset when it was time for us to go but he had a great day!  He will ride the bus to and from school, which he is SO excited about!  He was able to ride the bus to daycare at the end of the day and he loved it!  Can't believe my baby boy is already in school!!  Here are some pics from his big day!

His first artwork!  I found a cool Ap that has you take pics of their artwork and then it will make it in to a book! So, there won't be tons of papers lying around!  Woo Hoo!

Outside Fun!

Even though it's been smokin' hot out lately, we've been trying to get in some outside time after dinner.  

This sunflower started as a little seedling in a plastic cup that Brady 'planted' at preschool...it's come a long way!  He is adamant that we water it each day! 

Brady FINALLY has become interested in riding his bike and now he can't get enough.  He's doing an awesome job!!

This little stinker doesn't stay still long enough for me to get a picture of him...go, go, go!!

Boys will be Boys

Lately Brady has been all about taking his picture or videoing him doing just about everything from wearing a hat to dancing...so here are a couple of pics from yesterday!  The last picture is a little more accurate depiction of what these two are like!

Time to Play!

Now that Mason is so mobile, he is EVERYWHERE, which is awesome but exhausting!  He is fearless and has been having a blast exploring his playset.  And of course, he's fallen more times than I can count and it must be 2nd child syndrome as we don't go running over to him like we did with Brady...hey, maybe we've relaxed a little??!! :-)  But not to worry, all of his falls have been way low key.  He just gets right back up and keeps at it!  Love his determination!!

Our Boys

Now that Mason is more mobile and 'plays' more, he and Brady are really enjoying playing together.  Mostly they like to chase each other around and make noises--Mason copies everything Brady does.  It's so fun to see them becoming friends.  Brady definitely torments Mason, pushes him, etc but he is also his biggest protector.  I can't wait to watch their relationship grow!

Brady pretty much only takes showers now but since Mason was taking a bath he wanted to play with him in the water. 

Even though they are a trying two-some, they melt my heart!
