Girls Day!

Last Saturday I had some special guests from Omaha for a much-needed Girls Day!
We started the day off at our house and then headed to the East Village to hit up some shops and look around.  The first place we went in to had the perfect accessory for any home...
They had Mer-Men ornaments.  Maybe the rainbow flag outside should have given it away but it was hilarious!!!  If you're needing some mer-men for your collection, I know how to hook you up!

After hitting up the shops we headed towards the Farmer's Market and then hit up Dos Rios for some awesome lunch and a mid-day drink.  We talked for a long time and had the best time catching up!!
After Dos Rios we headed to Scratch for a sweet snack!

After Scratch we came back to our house and chatted even more.  It was such a great day with these two.  I miss them SO much!  But we always pick right back up where we left off...love these two!

A Milestone Birthday

On May 31st we headed back to Elk Horn for my Grandma's 80th Birthday!  We had a nice cake reception at the Nursing Home where she's lived for a while.  It was a quick trip but always good to see family!  I failed at taking very many pictures!

Preschool Program

Brady's last day of Preschool/End of year celebration was a little while ago but better late than never!  We were able to go out to Jester Park (Andy rode the bus with Brady) for a cute program by the kiddos, followed by lunch and then play time.  They did such a great job with their program, it was too cute!  Brady LOVED school and had already started the countdown to Kindergarten on his last day of preschool!  He had 2 amazing teachers and we were so lucky to have them!  Can't believe we'll be getting ready for Kindergarten soon...yikes!

Father's Day Weekend

We had a really great weekend!  On Friday night, Nels, Cindy, Brad and the boys came over for dinner.  It was great to see Nels and Cindy and we had a great time catching up!  On Saturday morning we headed up to Gowrie and had a great day up there as well.  We had a super yummy lunch and were able to see Nels and Cindy some more.  It was a great family day!  Then on Sunday we were able to celebrate our special guy, Andy!  He was able to sleep in a little (7:30 is sleeping in for us!).  We had some breakfast and hung out for a while.  Then we did some things around the house and then headed out west for some lunch.  We headed to Red Robin for some burgers.  It was busy and there was a wait but the boys did really well!  Luckily it was nice outside for our wait.

Seriously...Monkey see, monkey do!  Mason copied EVERYTHING Brady did!  It was too cute!

After lunch the boys headed home and I did some shopping.  Naps were had by all and then we went to the park to play!  All in all a great day celebrating one special father and husband!  Our boys are so lucky to call you daddy!!!
