Andy and Brady worked hard to put the snowblower away and to get out some spring stuff. Brady was right by daddy's side to 'help'. :-)

What a fun weekend!

We had a great weekend! Full of fun stuff and family. On Friday night I had a GNO (girls night out!). Jen, Meggie and I went out for some appetizers at Chips and then went to see The Lincoln Lawyer. Good movie! Highly recommend it. It's always nice to have a great night out with friends and escape 'mommy' time for a little bit.
Then on Saturday we got up, loaded up the car and headed back to Kimballton. Mom and I went to a bridal shower in Exira for my future sister-in-law Kayla. She got some great stuff! After the shower we headed back to mom and dad's as they were hosting Cadence's (my niece) 2nd birthday party! She got lots of good toys, etc and it was so fun to watch the cousins play together. They were so good together!
Then we headed home early Sunday morning so we coudl be back to church and I helped in the nursery.
It was a fun weekend! They just go way too fast!!!

Bad Boys...Bad Boys

You can sing the rest of the 'Cops' song! Ha ha! We had one very busy weekend! I had the day off on Friday as our daycare was closed. So Brady and I had a fun time at the mall. Then on Saturday Andy had my brother's bachelor party. I think a good time was had by all. :-) Then on Sunday Brady and I headed back to Kimballton for a bridal shower for my cousin Nicole. It was great to see everyone and she got lots and lots of good stuff! When we got home, Brady had a surprise! Daddy put together his cop car that he got for Christmas. He LOVES it!!! Here are a few fun shots. Luke and Brady played outside together and pushed each other. It was so cute! :-)
(We still have the floor in the car, we need to take it out so Brady can propel himself but he doesn't understand that concept yet).

Bring on Spring!!!

This week has been great! We've been able to take advantage of the gorgeous weather. This week has been Spring Break at Grand View so things around campus have been super quiet and I've been able to get a lot of work done (amazing what you can get done when you don't have a ton of students everywhere!). I worked early all week so I was able to head home at a decent time. I picked Brady up early from daycare a couple of days this week and we went on walks and went to the park. He loves being outside and throws a complete fit when we have to leave or go inside...here are a couple fun pics from the park from yesterday! :-)

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Here's our little good luck charm! Hope you have a great St. Patty's Day! I am super excited that I get to spend all day tomorrow with my little man! We have lots on our schedule and am hoping for a great day (and for great weather!).





He has been a little stinker about having his picture taken...he simply doesn't like it! So here are some of him playing with his 'Choo Choo'(one of his favorites right now) and the last picture shows one of his new expressions...what a silly goof!

Belly Buttons...

Belly Buttons are Brady's new obsession! He will lift his shirt up and say 'Baaay Baaay', which translates to belly button. I had one of my fitness magazines by my bed and the girl on the cover had a bikini on and he was immediately obsessed with looking through the magazine and pointing out all of the belly buttons. He will come up to me and before I know it, he's trying to lift my shirt up to see mommy's belly button. Ha! Which isn't so great when you're out in public! One of the cutest things he does is lift his shirt up, climb up on my lap and he wants me to rub his belly. He will do this every night...what a silly boy! On Saturday night, Andy and I were watching a movie and one of the characters in the movie was pregnant and it showed her belly. Brady ran up to the t.v. and was saying 'Baaay Baaay'...at first we thought he was saying 'Baby' and we were wondering how on earth he knew there was a baby in there...but then we realized he was saying 'belly button' cuz then he pulled his shirt up and pointed to his...Ha!
When it's time for bed, Brady picks out a book for Daddy to read him and it's always this book: The Belly Button Book...



I wonder what his next obsession will be!

Like Father Like Son

Brady has been having fun playing with cars lately. Especially his cop cars (which make lots of noice much to my dismay...). He shares this same passion with his daddy and I'm pretty sure they fight over which cars they can each play with. Ha ha! Just last weekend Andy was watching 'Cops' and whenever the bad guy would get arrested and was sitting in the cop car, Brady would walk over to the t.v., point to the bad guy and say 'Naughty'...it was so cute!

Something rare

These pictures show a very rare occasion...Brady sitting still for a minute to have a snack and watch whatever is on t.v.

Gotta keep hydrated!

One of Brady's new infatuations is any or all of my water bottles. He will find one in the cupboard, go over to the refrigerator and say 'Water'...we put just a little in for him and then he will chug away at it. I especially get a kick out of it when he plays with my big blue bottle. What a character!

Never a dull moment...

Brady is really starting to show his personality and he loves to entertain...so even simple 'treat' time turns into a show...I think we are really going to have our hands full with him! But I wouldn't have it any other way. Not a day goes by that we don't just laugh and laugh at something he does or says.

How high can it go?

Brady loves to stack his blocks...he will stack them as high as he can, come over to us and say 'I did it!' and then proceed to kick it down with his feet or kick a ball to knock it over. He will do this over and over...silly boy!

Hey Coach!

The other night while we were playing 'soccer' (which is basically us rolling the ball to Brady and then he kicks it as hard and as high as he can...and we usually have to take cover because he can really kick!) Brady found a whistle of his and just had to have it around his neck. He would blow it from time to time, especially when he wanted the ball to be thrown to him. It was pretty comical!


He was yelling to us...he wanted the ball!
